RAAus Fly-in, Monto 12th-14th June

While we’re on the topic of Fly-ins (Flies-in?), how could I forget … the RAAus is holding a Fly-in at Monto on the Queen’s Birthday weekend.

Around 1.5 – 2.5 hrs flying time depending on whereabouts you are around Brisbane. Double that for a Drifter. :o (Other states – we’d love to see you there!).

I believe that this is intended to be something like a “Mini Natfly” for those of the Northern persuasion who baulked at the distance to Temora, or to whom the distance was otherwise prohibitive.

That reminds me. Must do a report on Temora soon. Don’t let me forget.

Well Monto might be fun. It’s a good excuse to go for a fly, anyway. Monto is at S24 deg 53.09′ E51 deg 06.01′, and is 757′ AMSL.
